Auto Attendant IVR system

Not to be confused with regular voicemail, the auto attendant can either be set to take calls as soon as they come in or to answer only if the receptionist or call centre hasn’t picked up within a predetermined time frame. Although everyone would prefer to speak to a real person, the cost of a receptionist or the cost of missing a call are factors to be taken in to consideration when deciding how to setup the incoming calls of your phone system.

Give callers options

If you have different departments that handle calls or you would like to appear larger than you are, an auto attendant can allow callers to choose #1 for sales, #2 for support or #3 for accounts enquiries for example.

Better than a missed call

Regardless of the company size there will always be times when a call goes unanswered. We usually set the phone system to handle calls if they have not been answered within 20 seconds.
