Telstra ISDN2

ISDN is traditional type of phone line (runs across copper wires) but instead of using an analogue signal as is the case with PSTN, ISDN uses a digital signal. ISDN2 or Basic Rate ISDN is only available in Australia from Telstra or Testra rebill carriers such as ourselves.

Line rental is typically quite expensive for ISDN2 so usually we opt for an ISDN10 from AAPT or Optus where coverage is available. There are circumstances where customers have existing lines using this technology and we opt to keep them as they are and just offer a cheaper plan.

Plans and Pricing

We offer both a pay as you go and an unlimited call plan for ISDN2. There are no lock in contracts for either service. If you already have ISDN and you would like to change to Astro, there is no downtime or change to your phone numbers. Call 1300 799 659 for our discounted pricing.
